Shields dominated Hermans

The WBC Middle World Champion, the American Claressa “T-Rex” Shields, successfully defended her crown, by defeating by unanimous decision the Belgian Femke Hermans, this Saturday at the StubHub Center, Carson, California.

Shields’ dominance was so clear in this match, that the three judges did not hesitate to score 100-90, in a convincing victory of the double Olympic champion.

Shields is shaping up to an interesting fight against Germany’s Christina Hammer, which could be organized in March or April of next year.

Shields easily won the fight, being always the most aggressive fighter, who attacked at all times and did not lose control of the fight at any time, despite the greater stature of his rival. With this result, Shields improved his record to 8-0, with 2 knockouts, while Hermans dropped to 9-2, with 3 knockouts.
