Two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and new WBC Silver Super Middleweight Champion Claressa Shields (3-0, 1 KO), won by unanimous decision over her opponent Sydney LeBlanc (4-2-1) on Friday night at the Detroit Masonic Temple in the main event of another installment of the “Detroit Brawl” series. On display was Shields’ masterful ability to double up on her jabs and follow them up with right hands to the nose of LeBlanc. Shields proved to be dominant in yet another fight, even though the fight went the distance. LeBlanc never landed a significant punch and allowed Shields to use her as a punching bag for most of the fight. The judges scored the fight 80-72.
