Shiro prepares to face Juarez

Japan’s Ken Shiro (14-0, 8 KO’s), World Boxing Council flyweight champion, will expose his crown against the complicated Mexican fighter Saul “Baby” Juarez (24-8-2, 13), on December 30 in the General Ota-City Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan, on a billboard that will be broadcast by Fuji TV.

Shiro is doing a great preparation for this important fight, because to get a win, could be recognized as the champion of the year, after having made successful defenses against Ganigan Lopez and Milan Melindo.

Ken says he wants to prove he is the best flyweight in the world by closing the year with a spectacular triumph, so he is doing one of the strenuous training camps of his career.

His rival, the “Baby” Juarez, will have his second chance to play a world title, since in 2016 he faced the Thai WBC minimum champion, Wanheng Menayothin, being defeated by decision.
