Undefeated WBC light flyweight champion Ken Shiro (13-0, 7 KOs), will defend his title against Filipino Milan Melindo (37-3, 13 KOs) in Yokohama, Japan, on October 7 on the undercard of the World Boxing Super Series II.
Ken has been putting in the work and doing the rounds. He’s already completed more than 60 rounds of sparring with a style council of rivals.
Ken will defending his WBC belt for the fourth time since dethroning Mexican Ganigan Lopez in May 2017. He recently defended his crown by knocking out the same Ganigan in the second round, in a rematch in May.
Melindo, comes from losing a close decision against Ryoichi Taguchi, last December.
