In a huge upset, unheralded super bantamweight Emmanuel “Veneno” Dominguez (19-5-2, 13 KOs) scored a spectacular fourth round knockout against WBO #5, WBC #5, WBA #10 bantamweight and former WBO interim champion Alejandro “Payasito” Hernandez (31-11-1, 16 KOs) on Friday night at the Auditorio Blackberry in Mexico City. The fight ended when Dominguez ripped a brutal left hook to the liver of Hernandez. “Payasito” crumpled to his hands and knees for the full ten. Time was 1:20. Dominguez claimed Hernandez’ Mexican domestic super bantamweight title with the win.
