SLIM PICKINGS! WBC FEMALE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION ALEJANDRA “TIGRE” JIMENEZ IS LEAVING THE HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION

With typical good humor reinforced by that broad sunny smile which so characterizes her as WBC world champion, Alejandra Jiménez, announced that she will vacate the female heavyweight crown, lamenting there are no more rivals to face.
She commented that since her debut until today, it has been exceptionally  difficult to find rivals, and she’s KO’d most of them in next to no time at all!  In fact…too quickly!

Alejandra confirmed that she will try  the super middleweight division, and following discussions with her team and her nutritionist, they consider  that this change is reasonable and feasible.

Given this announcement, Mauricio Sulaiman, said that this decision will only be supported if Alejandra presents a body mass test that corroborates that there is no risk, as the champion would  have to lose around 20 Kilograms. Alejandra herself says she wants a test the water fight at super middleweight to assess just  how her body reacts.

Mauricio Sulaiman mentioned  the possibility of a temporary permit for Alejandra, to have  a super middleweight trial fight without losing her status as champion.
