César Soriano received Latin belt WBC The huge smile said it all.
The fighter from Mexico City, César Soriano, received the superlight Latin belt of the World Boxing Council, after the victory he won by knockout over Ismael Urieta on June 28.
Soriano, 22, is 15-2.8 KOs, and after his last defeat in March last year, he has four consecutive wins.
“Let’s go for more, I’m glad to have this belt in my possession,” said the new WBC Latino champion with joy at 140 pounds.
He said the desire is to continue climbing in this division and train with greater determination to defend his belt and later seek a world crown.
“We know that our career is taking shape, it will always be important to win titles. My dream is to become world champion, but we are going step by step, now with more determination, ”said Soriano, who is represented by promoter Ricardo Maldonado.
