A championship clash will headline Brave Combat Federation’s next event, as Stephen Loman puts the bantamweight title on the line against former featherweight king Elias Boudegzdame on March 22, promotion officials told MMA Fighting.

Brave 22, the company’s first event in 2019 after a busy year with 12 cards in 2018, will take place at the traditional Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Philippines.

Loman (12-2) defended his throne twice in 2018, scoring decision victories over Felipe Efrain and Frans Mlambo. The Filipino bantamweight, the only fighter in Brave history to successfully defend his title twice, is currently riding a six-fight winning streak, 4-0 run under the Brave CF banner.

Boudegzdame (15-5) will cut back down to 135 pounds after a 3-1 run as a featherweight inside the Brave cage, when he won and defended the 145-pound title before losing it to Bubba Jenkins last September.
