The UFC Liverpool main event was not without controversy.
After 25 minutes of tactical striking, Liverpool’s own Darren Till earned the unanimous decision nod over Stephen Thompson in Sunday’s welterweight main event. Two judges, Andy Roberts and Paul Sutherland, scored the fight 49-46 in favor of Till, while judge Mark Collett went with a closer 48-47 tally.
