The WBC purse bid for light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson’s long overdue mandatory defense versus interim titlist Oleksandr Gvozdyk is scheduled to take place in New York City early Monday afternoon. Stevenson has not made a mandatory defense since 2013 when he defeated Tony Bellew inside the distance.
