Suarez still training despite ECQ

DAVAO CITY – Undefeated Charly “King’s Warrior” Suarez of San Isidro, Davao del Norte has continued to keep himself busy despite the ongoing ECQ in Metro Manila.

Suarez needs to keep himself busy in preparation for his encounter with Lorence Rosas of Puerto Princesa City on April 24 on the 2nd Floor of Megamart in Paniqui, Tarlac.

“Na ti-training po ako sa Afpovai po (I am in Afpovai for my training)” said Suarez (5W-0L, 4KOs).

Suarez used to be training at Elorde Gym but there was a lockdown.

“Pero ngayon wala po kasi lockdown (Right now we have nothing because there is lockdown)” he said.

Suarez has been sparring with the five guys of Elorde before it was lockdown.

“Okay naman po ang timbang ko (My weight is OK)” said Suarez.

“Dito na po kami sa Tarlac ngayon (We are here now in Tarlac now)” he added.

Suarez recently beat Jon Jon Estrada of Pasay by a unanimous decision last Feb. 13, 2021 in Paniqui.

The bubble boxing event, which is entitled “A Warrior’s Call Fight for Supremacy” is promoted by Cucuy Elorde of UKC Pro Boxing Edition and Robert Hill of VSP Boxing
