SULTANS OF SWAT! WINNERS OF THE FIRST UNIVERSITY BOXING TOURNAMENT IN MEXICO

Twelve swots from university are champions of swat, at the  1st National University Championship Boxing  Tournament, held at the Del  Ojeda Malpica Gym in the Mexico´s National Polytechnic Institute.

In the women’s division of 51 kilos Alondra M. Perez Martinez , from the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi, won the medal  by defeating  Karla Tarango J. Estrada, from the Autonomous University of Chihuahua. The third place went to Edna C. Garibay Cavazos, of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon and Estefania Cortes, Autonomous University of Queretaro.

In the division of 60 kilos, the winner was Fernanda C. Vazquez Saldaña, (University of Guadalajara), defeating  Monica L. Trejo Avila, from the Autonomous University of Coahuila Northeast, while third place went to Monserrat Acevez Olvera ( UNAM) and Sofia M. Rivas Perez of the Agrarian University of Coahuila, Antonio Narro.

In the  division of 75 kilos, the monarch is Karla Carolina Venegas Ramirez, from the Autonomous University of Chihuahua,  second place went to Remy A. Moctezuma Alvarado, from the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon. The third place went to Rosa I. Gallegos Meza, from the National Polytechnic Institute.

In the men’s division of 52 kilos

The winner is Josue H. Barrera Martinez (IPN), the second place went to Izbak Cano Arredondo (UAQ) and the third place went to Mauricio Estrada Torres (UANL).

In the division of 56 kilos

The winner is Edgar E. Alvarez Carballo (UACH), the second place went to Jorge M. Nevarez Cortés (UANL) and third place went to José A. González Hernández, of the Autonomous Agrarian University Antonio Narro (UAAAN) and Sergio F . Hernandez Martinez (UNAM)

In the 60 kilos division

1st place for Cristían Tellez A. Avila (UANL), second place for  Virrello Salvador Vázquez (UANL), and the third place went to Sergio Isidro Rivera (UAQ) and Kevin A. Cobos Palmas (UACH).

In the 64 kilos division

The Champion is Juan de Dios Santana Montes (UACH), second place to Osmany Ruiz Pérez (IPN), third place for Francisco A. Diaz Martínez (UANL) and Moises David Olivera Lascares (UAAAN)

In the 69 kilos division

The First place went to Jesus Chavarria J. Valenzuela (UACH), Second to Christian O. Fernández García (IPN) and third place went to John L. Vargas Osorio (UANL) and José Luis López Martínez  from TESJO .

In the75 kilos division

The champion is Yoali A. Sanchez Cortes (UNAM), second place went to Isaac D. Olvera Betancourt (IPN) and the third place went to Jorge A. Martinez Ballesteros Regional University North (Chihuahua (URN) and José A. Saavedra Monastery (UASLP).

In the 81 kilos division

Franco A. Arias Rubio, Autonomous University of Queretaro emerged as champion, followed by Mario E. Cortes Sanchez (IPN) and third place went to Samuel Perez Sanchez of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon.

In 91 kilos

The monarch is Palos Villatoro (UNAM), followed by Luis E. Garza Margaín (UANL) and the third place went to Miguel A. Cepeda Vargas (UANL) and Jaime E. Diaz Giles (UAAAN).

91 plus kilos Division

The champion is Miguel A. Rodriguez Bernal (UANL) while the second place went to Luis A. Vazquez Guerrero of the National Polytechnic Institute.
