Argentinian fighter, Vanesa Taborda, will be contesting the WBC super flyweight championship, on July 2nd at the Josué Neri Santos Gym in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, against formidable Champion Zulina “Loba” Muñoz.
The South American fighter goes all out, trying her utmost, to make history, in a bold gambit to wrest the title from one of the most powerful, accomplished and successful female champions.
The first duel Taborda had against a Mexican was with Mariana “Barbie” Juarez, on July 11th, 2015, losing in a controversial bout. Then, she fought to a rugged draw in a much anticipated rematch.
Her fight against Yessica ‘Kika’ Chavez, was on March 5th in Ecatepec, and it was a battle royale.
The Argentinian fighter has a deceptively impressive record of 8 victories, 6 losses and 3 draws.
Zulina has powered her way to a superb record of 46 victories (27 KO´s), 1 loss and 2 draws.
