Hector Tanajara and William Zepeda will clash this Friday in a great battle of undefeated fighters for the World Boxing Association Continental Americas Lightweight title. The Banc of California Stadium will serve as the venue for the Golden Boy Promotions event.

These two young fighters are facing a great opportunity to step up to the next level with a possible victory. Tanajara is a 24-year-old San Antonio native of Mexican descent. He recently defeated veteran Juan Carlos Burgos in a great demonstration of his evolution as a fighter.

Zepeda is 25 years old and has a southpaw guard. The San Mateo Atenco native last fought in November and has won by knockout in his last 10 fights since 2017.

On Thursday, they will step on the scales to mark the division’s 135-pound weight limit. In the same event, WBA Female Flyweight Champion Naoko Fujioka will defend her crown against Mexico’s Sulem Urbina.

Tanajara has 19 wins, 5 of them by KO, while Zepeda has 22 wins, 20 of which have been before the limit.
