WBO bantamweight champ Marlon Tapales, Philippines, forfeited his belt on the scale since he failed to make the class limit, finally weighing in at 120, two pounds over the limit in a couple of hours after his first trip to the scale. Japanese challenger Shohei Omori successfully made the weight, scaling at 117.5 pounds.
