The Pride of Bonnie Scotland Josh Taylor, will face Ukrainian Viktor Postol in a final eliminator for the WBC super lightweight title at the SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland, on June 23.
Postol was scheduled to face WBC Interim super lightweight champion Regis Prograis, but an injury altered that.
Taylor, who’s WBC Silver champion of the division, comes from knocking out Nicaraguan Winston “Zurdo” Campos, and former champion Miguel “Títere” Vázquez.
Both fighters presented the 30-day regulatory pre-weigh in, complying with the requirement of the World Boxing Council, based on rigorous medical studies which help protect boxers from the risk of dehydration.
Postol weighed 149.2 pounds, while Taylor registered 151 pounds.
