Terry Flanagan will still make his title defense against Mzonke Fana.

Terry Flanagan’s scheduled WBO lightweight title defense against Mzonke Fana, which was originally set for the Fury-Klitschko II undercard on July 9, has been moved to BoxNation’s July 16 event in Cardiff, Wales.

Flanagan (30-0, 12 KO) will his third defense of the belt, which he won in a vacant title fight last July against Jose Zepeda. He defended successfully in October against Diego Magdaleno, and again in March against Derry Mathews.

Fana (38-9, 16 KO) is a 42-year-old South African veteran who has long been far from a serious contender. The last time he fought for a world title was 2008, when he defeated Cassius Baloyi to win the IBF super featherweight title. His most significant fight was a 2005 loss to Marco Antonio Barrera, where he was run over in two rounds.

The Cardiff card also includes a British and Commonwealth junior welterweight title fight between Liam Williams and Gary Corcoran, and a WBA super bantamweight title fight between Guillermo Rigondeaux and Jazza Dickens, plus returns for Bradley Skeete and Tommy Langford.
