The heart of the “Matter” for Mickey!

The location is Juarez Fair this Saturday night, but the peformance of WBC super featherweight number one contender Mickey Roman, must be significantly  better than average, for him to stay smack bang on course for a title clash with Miguel “El Alacran” Berchelt.

In the presentation of Promociones del Pueblo, Mickey from Juarez, risks his mandatory status, against talented Venezuelan Michel ‘Gallo de Oro’ Marcano.  Mickey’s super featherweight WBC FECARBOX title is at stake!

He selflessly said: “Without my team I would not be here. They motivate me!  I did a great preparation in Los Angeles,  boxing with fighters from all over the world. I do not know much about my rival but I certainly won’t be overconfident.”

Venezuelan Marcano, who’s  grateful for the welcome and kindness of the people in Juarez, said:  Mickey is a strong and experienced fighter. It is not easy to reach a record like his.  Mickey has many more fights than me… but that doesn’t matter!”
