Uruguayan knockout Amílcar Vidal will perform again in the United States this November 4, when facing Edward Ortiz, in an exciting mid-category undefeated duel, part of a billboard that will be promoted by Sampson Boxing LLC and TGB Promotions.

The ten-round fight will take place in Los Angeles, California, and will be streamed on Fox Sports (in the USA). TyC Sports (for Argentina and much of America) and Teledoce (to Uruguay).

The Pety Vidal, a pugile representing Sampson Boxing, will risk its 11-0, 10 KO immaculate mark, in front of a bravo fighter, San Antonio, Texas, with an unbeaten brand of 11-0-2, 4 KO.

28-year-old Edward Jeramie Ortiz was a remarkable amateur boxer who, among other achievements, won the gold medal at the national championship held in Spokane, Washington in 2015

He debuted as a rental in April 2016 and made his last fight just a few days ago, on August 22, this year, as he beat Antonio Todd by points in Los Angeles.

Vidal, 24, hasn’t fought since January this year when at the Radisson in Montevideo dispatched Mexican Leopoldo Reyna in around.

To adjust its preparation, the Eastern glider with his brother and CEO Richard will travel tomorrow Friday 4th to Coachella, California, to concentrate on a newly built home/gym by Sampson Lewkowicz, comfortable space for five people, which will be commanded by coach Freddy Fundora (father of undefeated super welterweight Sebastian “The Hell Tower” Fundora).

VIDAL VS LOVERA IS CONFIRMED. IT WOULD BE IN JANUARY

Regarding the fight between Vidal and the super medium Argentine champion, the undefeated correntino knockout Ramón “Monzón” Lovera, Sampson pointed out that it is closed and confirmed but that it should have been postponed pending the approval of the Uruguayan government to enable the activity, suspended as many others, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

“If everything goes well as we think, that fight could take place in January, obviously in Uruguay”, the promoter said.
