The Voice! Dr. Morales honored at the Coliseum

For his great work over decades as a sports writer and commentator in wrestling and boxing, Dr. Alfonso Morales was honored in the ring at the Cathedral of Mexican Boxing… Arena Coliseo in the heart of Mexico City.

Round after round of  applause and cheers, as a warm, caring and appreciative  gesture of friendship, admiration and gracias for the thrills, with no frills,  from the fans to  THEIR COMMENTATOR, who week by week, year in year out,  kept them on the edge of their seats, and then brought them to their feet, with his brilliant, vivid  and griping narrations.

“It’s an amazing moment.  I will not forget this,  because I’m at home and with beautiful people who have always shown me their love,” said Alfonso Morales.
Champions Johnny Gonzalez, Carlos Cuadras and Mariana ‘Barby’ Juarez were present to honor their Champion…The  Mexican legend.
