The WBC mourns the death of Pepe Mora

This morning Pepe Mora, founder of the Popular National Games, passed away due to diabetes.

The World Boxing Council and its President Mauricio Sulaimán, express deepest condolences to his wife, children, family, and many friends for this terribly sad loss.

Don Pepe was an enthusiastic man who always inspired and supported young people to participate in these games that were specially created to encourage urban athletes.

The Popular National Games were founded in 2008 and Pepe Mora was always at the forefront.

Rest in peace Dear Friend.
