The WBC orders García vs. Campbell

The World Boxing Council orders the fight between Lightweight Silver champion Ryan Garcia and Luke Campbell for the interim 135-pound world title.

Campbell (20-3-0, 16 KO) and Garcia (20-0-0, 17 KO) rank second and third in the WBC rankings.

Garcia is one of Golden Boy’s youngest mercurial talents and since teaming up with coach Eddy Reynoso,  he`s knocked out Romero Duno and Francisco Fonseca in one round apiece.

Campbell comes from losing a decision against Vasyl Lomachenko, which nevertheless was a creditable performance.
