Three fights added to UFC Sao Paulo

The UFC has officially announced three new match-ups to its upcoming event in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Oct. 28.

Headlined by Lyoto Machida vs. Derek Brunson at the Ibirapuera gymnasium, UFC Fight Night 119 now includes Hacran Dias vs. Jared Gordon, Elizeu Zaleski vs. Max Griffin, and Luan Chagas vs. Niko Price.

Dias (23-5-1) enters the lightweight bout coming off back-to-back losses to Cub Swanson andAndre Fili, while Gordon (13-1) makes his second UFC appearance following a second-round victory over Michel Quinones.

Zaleski (17-5) has won three in a row in the UFC welterweight division, capped off by a decision victory over Lyman Good in July. Griffin (13-3), on the other hand, improved to 1-1 in the UFC after knocking out Erick Montano last November.

Chagas (15-2-1) recently scored his first UFC win by tapping out Jim Wallhead in June. Price (10-0, 1 no-contest) went 2-0 so far in the UFC, but his first Octagon win was overturned after testing positive for marijuana. Combate first reported the welterweight bout.
