The World Boxing Council light heavyweight champion, Adonis Stevenson, will defend his crown against mandatory division contender, Ukrainian Oleksandr Gvozdyk, on December 1 at the Videotron Center in Quebec, Canada.

Adonis (29-1-1, 24 KOs) comes from a big fight against Badou Jack in the spring of this year, while Gvozdyk, former Olympic medalist and undefeated fighter in 15 bouts with 12 knockouts, comes after defeating Mehdi Amar by unanimous decision.
