A key flyweight bout has been added to UFC on FOX 26.

The Ultimate Fighter 24 winner and one-time title challenger Tim Elliott will go head-to-head with Justin Scoggins on Dec. 16 at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the UFC announced Thursday.

This will be the third appearance in 2017 for Elliott (14-8-1). The 30-year-old grappling specialist returned to the UFC last December, earning a title shot against Demetrious Johnsonafter winning the TUF 24 “Tournament of Champions”. Elliott would go on to lose a competitive five-round decision, and he is 1-1 since with a unanimous decision win over Louis Smolkafollowed by a 49-second submission loss to Ben Nguyen.

Scoggins (11-4) is also trying to regain his footing in the UFC’s lightest male weight class. “Tank” defeated upcoming title challenger Ray Borg on the scorecards in February of last year, but saw the rest of 2016 spoiled by an injury that forced him to withdraw from a bout with Ben Nguyen, and his inability to make the 125-lb limit for a bout with Ian McCall that ended up being canceled.

The 25-year-old Scoggins participated in one disastrous bout at bantamweight that saw him submitted by Pedro Munhoz, and his return to flyweight in June also ended with him tapping out, this time to Yuta Sasaki.

UFC on FOX 26 marks the Octagon’s second trip to Winnipeg, the first being UFC 161 back on June 15, 2013.
