TIME FOR IRMA´S ENCAPSULATED WBC BELT

Cop that….Mexico`s President Enrique Peña Nieto, has sealed a Time Capsule, of Police memorabilia, which will next see the light of day in half a century.

“Time in a bottle” containing articles of the Federal Police, will be opened in 50 years from now.   One of the precious items being put away until then, is a boxing glove autographed by Irma Garcia.

Among other key events, this poignant ceremony was part of the 89th Anniversary of the Federal Police. The President visited the facilities and presented his respects to the police on their very special day.

We congratulate our Federal Police, organization to which our dear champion Irma Garcia belongs to. Proud to be counted in its ranks, Irma commented; “With this I reaffirm my affection for the WBC, in an act that I really consider memorable and historical.”
