Tina Rupprecht and Katia Gutiérrez lightly brush the scales

Strawweight champion of the World Boxing Council, Tina Rupprecht from Germany, will defend her belt tomorrow July 24 against the experienced former world champion, the Mexican Katia Gutiérrez, in Königsbrunn, Germany.

Tina will make the third defense of her WBC crown in the 7th edition of the “Ab in den Ring” program, hosted by Wasili Rutz.
Since her last fight in December 2019, Rupprecht has not been able to defend her title due to the pandemic, but fortunately this time the fight is possible.
Both warriors passed the official weigh-in this Friday. Tina registered 105 pounds, while Katia weighed 104.7pounds.
