UFC Austin will have to undergo an unexpected shake-up.

Former Invicta FC bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger has been forced to withdraw from her Feb. 18 bout against Marion Reneau after suffering an undisclosed injury. Both Evinger and Reneau tweeted about the development on Tuesday, although the UFC has yet to announce the news. Fansided first reported news of Evinger’s withdrawal.

Evinger (19-6, 1 NC) was expected to make her official 135-pound Octagon debut after suffering a third-round TKO loss to Cris Cyborg in a featherweight title fight at UFC 214. A longtime contender at 135 pounds, Evinger racked up an 11-fight unbeaten streak from 2011 to 2017 that included wins over Irene Aldana, Yana Kunitskaya, and Colleen Schneider during her reign as Invicta FC champion.

Reneau (8-3-1) is undefeated over her last three contests, a run highlighted by a pair of third-round stoppage wins over Milana Dudieva and Talita Bernardo. She also fought to a majority draw against one-time UFC title challenger Bethe Correia over that span.

As of this writing, it is unclear if Reneau will remain on the card.

UFC Austin takes place at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. A welterweight showdown between Donald Cerrone and Yancy Medeiros headlines the event, which also features James Vick vs. Francisco Trinaldo, Derrick Lewis vs. Marcin Tybura, Ray Borg vs. Brandon Moreno, and Sage Northcutt vs. Thibault Gouti, among other announced contests.
