Dejan Zlaticanin, won the World Boxing Council lightweight championship after historically defeating Bolivian, Franklin Mamani, in three rounds in Verona, New York, and enjoyed an open arms from his people.
The South American suffered from the word go. He tried to ride out a torrid outset, but received clusters of punches up and down and round about, not being able do anything about Zlaticanin’s quality.
Zlaticanin, who became the first world champion from Montenegro, arrived to his country, where he was joyously received as hometown conquering hero.
