Tszyu stops Cornejo in first round

Unbeaten 154-pound prospect Tim Tszyu (11-0, 9 KOs), son of ring legend Kostya Tszyu, scored a first round TKO over Marcos Jesus Cornejo (19-4, 18 KOs) on Saturday night at the new Bendigo Stadium in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. The bout was stopped by referee Jeff Eddy after Tszyu rocked Cornejo with some big shots. Time was 2:21.
