Vitor Miranda is no longer on the UFC roster, he announced on social media.
Miranda, who turned 39 in March, joined the promotion in 2014 after making it to the TUF Brazil 3 final as a heavyweight.
“Lex Luthor” (12-7) won three straight with a trio of knockouts after going down to middleweight, but was cut after losing his last three, most recently a decision to Abu Azaitar at UFC Hamburg.
On his social media, Miranda revealed he’s already negotiating with another promotion and doesn’t rule competing under muay thai rules as well in the future. Miranda holds a 23-8-1 professional record in kickboxing with 18 knockouts.
