This Friday two African Boxing Union (ABU) championships at stake at the Next Door Arena in Masaki, Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania.
It’s a promotion by Jackson Group Ltd & Global Boxing Stars.
Nigerian veteran Olanrewaju “The Power of God” Durodola will defend his ABU cruiser title against tough Shaban Hamadi Jongo of Tanzania, in an engaging match where he will try to capitalize on his greatest experience.
Durodola is coming off defeating the previously undefeated Taryel Jafarov of Azerbaijan, at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra, Ghana last March.
Jongo, a 32-year-old from Bagamoyo, Tanzania, comes into this fight after defeating American Shawn Miller with an impressive first-round knockout last January.
In another compelling bout for the vacant ABU super welterweight title, Tanzanian native Hassan Mwakinyo will face Antonio Mayala of Angóla.
