TWO WBC INTERNATIONAL BELTS WILL BE DISPUTED IN RUSSIA

On Saturday night at the Evloev Sports Palace in Nazran, Russia, SKV Boxing will present an attractive card featuring two World Boxing Council International titles, to be broadcast to Latin America by TyC Sports.

Unbeaten Russian Vyacheslav Mirzaev (9-0-0, 1 KO) will be make the first defense of his WBC Silver International bantamweight title against experienced Filipino Sukpraserd Ponpitak (18-7-0, 12 KO’S).

Mirzaev won the title in June, defeating France’s  Anthony Settoul. Ponpitak comes from defeating his compatriot Joy Joy Formentera in September.

In another interesting fight, the Argentine champion,  Ricardo Villalba, will face the undefeated Russian Ismail Iliev (9-0-1, 2 KOs), in the vacant super welterweight International title of the World Boxing Council.

Iliev, 24, is a former amateur star and fresh  from defeating German Nico Salzmann by technical knockout in the fourth round in Vilnius, Lithuania, in February.
