UFC 224 final betting odds: Nunes continues to be heavily favored over Pennington

Bloodyelbow.com

It’s fight day! Bloody Elbow is back to bring you the final UFC 224 betting odds, and the current women’s bantamweight champ, Amanda Nunes (-900), remains heavily favored to successfully retain her crown against the challenger, Raquel Pennington (+600), in the main event. In a much more tightly contested tilt, according to the odds, the promotion’s #3 middleweight Ronaldo Souza(-145) continues to be favored over the #5 Kelvin Gastelum (+135) in the co-main event.

In our midweek betting odds post, we found the closest line on the card belonging to Cezar Ferreira vs. Karl Roberson, and it still is. Unlike earlier in the week, Ferreira now only clocks in with a minus line from -125 up to -102, with Roberson still only at a favored line from -128 up to -105. We now have a different competitor that is sitting on both sides of the betting line. Welterweight Sean Strickland can be found from -105 up to +115 as he takes on Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos, who chimes in at about -130.

Tonight’s UFC 224 main card will air live on Pay-Per-View at 10:00 P.M. ET with the prelims starting at 8:00 P.M. ET on FS1. The exclusive Fight Pass prelims will begin at 6:15 P.M. ET.

Jacare Souza vs. Kelvin Gastelum: Middleweight

Gastelum opened up with a slightly favored line of -105, but has since steadily trekked into the underdog realm, and now resides around the +135 mark. Jacare opened up with a sturdy minus line of -135, and even moved up to -115 at one point before moving back down to around -145.

Junior Albini vs. Aleksei OleinikHeavyweight

Both Junior Albini and Aleksei Oleinik opened up with a betting line of -120, but Albini has been receiving the bulk of the betting love, moving him down a bit to -150, and sending Oliynyk to an underdog line of +140.
