Here are the betting odds for Saturday’s UFC 228 card, where Darren Till is favored to take the welterweight title from Tyron Woodley in the main event.
September’s UFC PPV is on deck as UFC 228 kicks off this Saturday from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Bloody Elbow is here to bring you the betting odds. The top of the billing will see a welterweight title fight involving pick’em odds, with the challenger Darren Till sporting a favored line of around -120, and the champ, Tyron Woodley, being found from -120 up to +103. Till opened up as the betting underdog at +115, but can now only be found at favored odds as Woodley trends into the underdog realm.
Despite opening up with a moneyline of -675, the coin continues to flow in for the UFC women’s flyweight title challenger Valentina Shevchenko, who now resides at an astronomical mark of -1300. Little love has been shown to the defending champ Nicco Montano, who with a staggering tag of +850 is the card-high underdog. With odds longer than a flight to Thailand, Shevchenko is the heaviest betting favorite of the entire event, but surprisingly not by much.
Clocking in just behind Shevchenko with an enormous line of -1200, the 15-1 featherweight phenom, Zabit Magomedsharipov, is massively favored over the 9-5 Brandon Davis. Barely trailing Montano, a +775 line makes Davis the second largest betting underdog of UFC 228. According to the odds, this fight won’t be making it the full fifteen minutes, with the prop bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to a decision’ owning a favored badge of -195, and ‘Fight goes to a decision’ sitting at +155.
Saturday’s UFC 228 main card will air live on Pay-Per-View at 10:00 P.M. ET with the prelims starting at 8:00 P.M. ET on FX. The exclusive Fight Pass prelims will begin at 6:00 P.M. ET.
