Light heavyweight prospect Johnny Walker will have his hands full when he meets Misha Cirkunov at UFC 235’s preliminary card on Saturday night. Outgoing and very loose with his dance moves and crazy faces, Walker’s antics and quick knockout wins have drawn the attention of many MMA pundits ever since his Octagon debut in 2018.

With KO wins over the likes of Khalil Rountree and, most recently, Justin Ledet, just last month, the Brazilian’s demeanor could also be interpreted as overconfident, given he demanded another fight after defeating his last opponent in only 15 seconds. However, the 26-year-old tells Ag Fight people would be mistaken to think of him in that way.

“I’m not overconfident, I just believe in myself a lot and have faith in me,” Walker said. “I know my limits. I know what I can do, when I can play around and where I can step.

“If I couldn’t step where I’m stepping, they wouldn’t put me here. If I’m here, it’s because it was already written, that’s for sure.”

UFC 235 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on March 2nd. The card will be headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between the champion, Jon Jones, and challenger Anthony Smith.
