Two top 10 flyweights will collide inside the Octagon as No. 5 Wilson Reis draws No. 6 Alexandre Pantoja at the UFC 236 pay-per-view card on April 13. The promotion has yet to announce the city and venue for the event.
MMA Fighting confirmed the booking following a report by Combate.
Reis (23-9), who once challenged Demetrious Johnson for the UFC flyweight championship, recently put an end to a three-fight losing skid by defeating Ben Nguyen via unanimous decision in December. Reis holds a 7-5 record inside the Octagon.
Pantoja (20-3) is coming off back-to-back wins under the UFC banner, an unanimous decision over Brandon Moreno last May followed by a first-round submission against Ulka Sasaki in November. The American Top Team talent is 4-1 since joining the company.
UFC 236 will feature middleweights Kelvin Gastelum and Israel Adesanya clashing for an interim title.
