Brendan Loughnane is being inundated with offers as his ACB contract is set to expire by the end of this month.

The UK fan base has been clamoring for the Manchester native to be given a second chance in the Octagon after he lost out to Mike Wilkinson — a defeat he has since avenged — at the TUF Smashes Finale after he appeared on the reality television show as a 21-year-old.

According to Loughnane, there could be up to five promotions that are vying to secure his signature at the moment.

“I’m in a great position now, I’ve got four or five offers on the table. I’m sitting back now because I’m injured, but these are really good offers. We’ll see what comes of it,” Loughnane told MMA Fighting.

“I only found out about one of the offers yesterday, it’s all still up in the air at the minute. All I can say is, if that one comes off it will be the biggest thing that’s ever happened in my career. If it comes off, I’ll have more money than I ever dreamed of.”

ACB are hoping to re-sign Loughnane on the back of his devastating third-round knockout of previously undefeated Paata Tsxapelia at ACB 75. He finished the fight in dramatic fashion after suffering a broken arm in the second round.

“The contract runs out at the end of February, so I’ve got about three weeks left on it now. I’m not going to be back in until May now with my arm healing up. ACB has come in with another good offer and there are some other big promotions that have put good offers on the table too.”

Sources have revealed that UFC are among the promotions that are vying for the 28-year-old’s signature, but Loughnane is keeping his cards close to his chest with regard to his next move.

“I’m really happy with them all, and I’m going to have to sit down and think about what’s best for my career. Right now, it’s all about getting healthy and making the decision,” he said.

“As I said earlier, there is one option here that is without a doubt the biggest thing I’ve ever done in my career. I can’t talk about whether that’s a UFC deal or not, but everyone will know my name by the end of this year if what I’m planning comes off.”
