UFC fighter rankings: Trinaldo back in at 155, Oliveira up at 170

UFC Sao Paulo didn’t put much of a dent in the UFC rankings.

Like the event before it in Moscow, UFC Sao Paulo didn’t exactly set the rankings afire. A laundry list of injuries watered down the card to the point that a few ranked fighters were even competing, and the one in the main event was fighting outside of his regular division.

In fact, no one moved up more than one spot in this week’s rankings update. With that being said, Francisco Trinaldo is now ranked again at 155 with his win over Evan Dunham, and Alex Oliveira inched up the welterweight ladder a little more.

But yeah, not much happened. Here’s a look at the changes for this week.

P4P – No changes.

Heavyweight – No changes.

Light Heavyweight – Ilir Latifi dropped from a tie for the three spot to take over the four spot on his own. Nikita Krylov moved up one spot to 14, dropping Tyson Pedro to 15.

Middleweight – With Thiago Santos picking up a win at 205 and seemingly looking to continue in that division, he dropped out of the 185 rankings. That allowed Uriah Hall, Elias Theodorou, and Krzysztof Jotko to all move up a spot to 12-14 respectively. Cezar Ferreira cracks the list at 15.

Welterweight – Oliveira is up one spot to 13 after his win. Gunnar Nelson fell one to 14. Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos enters the rankings at 15.

Lightweight – As mentioned, Trinaldo re-enters the rankings at 15 after beating Dunham in Brazil.

Featherweight – No changes.

Bantamweight – No changes.

Flyweight – No changes.

Women’s Bantamweight – No changes.

Women’s Flyweight – Jennifer Maia and Andrea Lee flip-flopped the 14 and 15 spots.

Women’s Strawweight – No changes.
