In a fun night of fights in Long Island, three Brazilians are coming back home with extra money in the pocket.
Alex Oliveira and Junior Albini, who scored impressive knockouts in the preliminary portion of UFC Fight Night 25, earned $50,000 each for the best performances of the night, while Elizeu Zaleski and Lyman Good earned the “Fight of the Night” bonus for their three-round war.
Oliveira lost the first round against Ryan LaFlare, but came back to become the first to ever finish the New York-native with a vicious uppercut. UFC newcomer Albini, who also won his fight by knockout, finished Timothy Johnson in the opening round.
Zaleski and Good closed out the prelims with an action-packed welterweight bout, and “Capoeira” defeated the former Bellator champion via split decision.
