UFC signs Brazilian bantamweight Bruno Silva

Four years after being part of the final The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil season, Bruno Silva has finally inked a deal with the UFC.

Silva, known as “Bulldog” in Brazil, signed with the UFC in the first days of 2019, he confirmed to MMA Fighting after this training partner Henry Cejudo, UFC’s flyweight champion, posted on his social media.

Silva, 11-3-1 as a professional fighter, will compete as a bantamweight inside the Octagon. The promotion has yet to book his debut.

In 2015, Silva made into the TUF Brazil 4 house after a scoring a TKO win over Gustavo Sedorio, but ended up losing to bantamweight runner-up Dileno Lopes in a quarterfinal bout.

“Bulldog” went 3-1-1 since competing on UFC’s reality show.
