UFC269: Venezuelan Julianna Peña Submits Brazilian Amanda Nunes, Becomes the new UFC World Champion

In a surprising result, relentless Venezuelan lady warrior Julianna Peña (12-2), defeated tough Brazilian star Amanda Nunes (21-5) by submission during the heated action of their 2nd round war.

After dominating the opening round, Amanda Nunes was out-struck in the second chapter, in which she took some hard hooks and straight rights, later on submitted by the Venezuelan Julianna Peña via rear-naked choke.

With the thrilling and tough win, the bruised Julianna Peña becomes the new UFC Bantamweight World Champion.

Nunes vs Peña was the co-feature for UFC 269 Saturday in Las Vegas

The losing champ Nunes appears in the new 2021 movie “Bruised,” starring Halle Berry.
