It looks like Uriah Hall is interested in a middleweight match-up against future UFC Hall of Famer Anderson Silva, if his Instagram is anything to go by.
Hall, a finalist on The Ultimate Fighter 17, made the following Instagram post earlier today.
Silva, the former middleweight champion, last fought at UFC 234, where he dropped a unanimous decision to surging prospect Israel Adesanya at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia. Both men put on a dazzling performance and were awarded with a $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus.
As for Hall, the Jamaican-born fighter is 2-4 in his last six, dropping losses to Robert Whittaker, Derek Brunson, Gegard Mousasi and Paulo Costa but picking up knockout wins over Krzysztof Jotko and Bevon Lewis. Hall’s most recent win came against Lewis, who he knocked out at last year’s UFC 232 pay-per-view at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
Hall is currently ranked at No. 13 in the official UFC middleweight rankings while Silva, the former pound-for-pound #1, is ranked at 15.
