On Thursday morning, the UFC announced the first three bouts for its 10th trip to London, UFC Fight Night 127, which takes place at the The o2 on March 18.

Surging Birmingham native Leon Edwards will look to make it five wins in a row when he takes on Polish veteran Peter Sobotta.

Edwards has only taken two losses in eight appearances in the Octagon to Claudio Silva and most recently, to top-ranked Kamaru Usman at UFC on FOX 17.

Since his loss to “The Nigerian Nightmare”, Edwards has claimed four wins in a row overDominic Waters, Albert Tumenov, Vicente Luque and Bryan Barberena.

Sobotta has only been bested once under the UFC banner in five appearances when he ended up on the wrong end of a Kyle Noke knockout in Australia for UFC 193. Sobotta has bounced back with two big wins over Nicolas Dalby and Ben Saunders.

Scotland’s Paul Craig will look to rebound from two knockout losses to Khalil Rountree andTyson Pedro when he takes on heavy-handed Russian debutant, Magomed Ankalaev. The Russian is currently 10-0 and has taken his last three wins by knockout.

Former BAMMA heavyweight champion Mark Godbeer will look to add to his two-fight winning streak when he faces off against another UFC newcomer, Ukrainian Dmitry Poberezhets.

Godbeer scored a controversial disqualification win over Walt Harris in his last outing at UFC 217 when he was deemed unable to continue after the American landed a head kick, just after the referee had called a time out for a shot to the Englishman’s groin.

The UK heavyweight made it two wins in a row on the night following his UFC 209 victory overDaniel Spitz. His sole Octagon loss came in his debut when he came up short against Justin Ledet.
