UNBEATEN Azizbek “AAA” Abdugofurov of Uzbekistan eyes for his 12th straight win when he goes up against Wuzhati Nuerlang of China for the World Boxing Council World Silver Super middleweight title fight on Nov. 18 at the PICC Tent in Pasay City.
Abdugofurov, 26 won the vacant WBC World Silver Super middleweight crown by beating Dmitrii Chuduniv via a unanimous decision last May 5 in Sports Palace Uzbekista Tashkent.
He also won the vacant WBC Asian Boxing Council middleweight title by knocking out only in the 1st round Chaloemporn Sawatsuk last July 23, 2016.
He then defended it by unanimous decision over Sirimongkhon Iamthuam last Feb. 10, 2017 in Far East Square in Singapore.
Nuerlang, on the other hand, will be staking his nine straight knockouts in his last 11 fight after only losing his pro boxing career.
The 22-year old orthodox fighter won the vacant World Boxing Organization Greater China light heavyweight title over Maimaitijiang Nuermaimaiti via 4th round retirement last June 10, 2017 in Huang Ting Stadium in Jinan.
He also won the vacant WBO Asia Pacific Youth super middleweight title by beating Iddrisa Amadu by unanimous decision last Nov. 18, 2017 in Barley Sport Culture Center in Da Lian.
He previously scored a 2nd round technical knockout over Bordin Peepueh last June 23 in Jinan.
Abdugofurov has a clean record of 11 wins with nine records with Nuerlang has 11 wins with 1 defeat with 9 knockout.
It is the main event of ”The Best Challenge” fight card promoted by Brico Santig of Highland Boxing Promotion in coordination with the Games and Board headed by its president Abraham Kahlil Mitra.
It is part of the WBC Asian Summit and the 3rd WBC Women’s Convention.
