Unbeaten USA Olympian and WBC Continental Americas lightweight champion Jose Ramirez (17-0, 12 KOs) returns to Central California — where he’s previously fought in front of sellout crowds — to face Tomas Mendez (22-7, 14 KOs) on Saturday night at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, California. Ramirez is coming off of a dominant win over veteran Manny Perez in April on HBO Pay-Per-View and a victory over Mendez will give him a top ten world rating. The fight will air on UniMas “Solo Boxeo.”
