Undefeated Laurente to fight Portes in GSC

DAVAO CITY — Undefeated southpaw Criztian Pitt Laurente of Gen. Santos City will fight Renan Portes of Bukidnon on Nov. 28 at the Covered Court in Brgy. Bawing in Gen. Santos City.

It is promoted by Gerry Penalosa in coordination with Brgy. Capt. Rey Benitez.

The 20-year Laurente recently beat Boyce “Astro Boy” Sultan of Cebu by a unanimous decision last Feb. 8, 2020 at the Barangay Apas Sports Complex in Cebu City.

Laurente has a total of five wins with three knockouts against no loss or draw since turning pro last 2019.

Portez (10W-13L-0D, 6KO), on the other hand, won by a unanimous decision over Sherwin McDo Lungay of Camiguin in Iligan last 2017.

However, he lost to international rated Mark Bernaldez of Butuan by a 1st round knockout last Dec. 15, 2019, in Gen. Santos City.
