Main event:

Hinata Maruta vs. Ben Mananquil

Tension was in the air when both gladiators came in the ring, as if a big storm looms in, at first glance you would think that Japanese Hinata Maruta would easily over power his Filipino adversary, with a 5 inches advantage, but as the fight progress Ben Manquil the left handed warrior of General Santos, proves that it would not be a hindrance, he goes in and do some damage inside.

It was see-saw battle as the two slugged it out with their hearts content.

Murata uses his reach at his advantage, a chopping jab and a straight right, momentarily stops Ben on his tracks but the Filipino won’t stop at anything keeps coming in to bang his opponents body.

In the end, the judges saw the fight as Split draw. Sammy Bernabe Sr. (77-75 for Manaquil); Al Llaneta (77-75 for Murata) and Elmer Lopez (77-77)

Prell Tupas vs. Ryan James Racaza

Prell Tupas, the journeyman proves that he is not yet done with boxing. He gave Ryan James Racaza a good fight although losing the bout via unanimous decision this old and tested warrior will still give the young warriors a problem to deal with.

Umi Ishikawa vs. Wassana Kamdee for the WBC Asia Cont’l Female Minimumweight Title

Umi Ishikawa the boxer from Japan came out red hot not allowing her Thai opponent Wassana Kamdee to fight back. At the rest period of the 2nd round upon the advised of her trainer Buchatam Unruan, the fight was stopped.

Melvin Manaquil vs. Romeo Tenorio

Both fighters fought gallantly but Melvin Mananquil who invested early to body dropped Romeo Tenorio in the 5th round. Tenorio tried to rally back on 6th round but it was already to late.

Melvin Manaquil got away with a unanimous decision. Nowel Haduca 57-56; Elmer Lopez 58-55; Al Llaneta 58-55

Leonardo Doronio vs. Christian Saga

Leonardo Doronio’s perfect body punch ended Christian Saga’s campaign early. Referee Al Llaneta stopped the bout at 1:26 at the very 1st round.

Ranelio Quizo vs. Sanny Boy Esquilona

Ranelio Quizo and Sanny Boy Esquilona are both fighters making their debut matches. Both fighter exchange blows but as the round progress it was clear Ranelio has a better condition, clear and more effective punches thus getting the nod of judges.

Carlo Baluyot 40-36; Al Llaneta 39-37 and Nowel Haduca 40-36. Ranelio Quizo won the bout via unanimous decision.

Welber Montere vs. Emerson Tejidal

Welber Montere wasted no time. He went out in a haste to end the fight, a body shot sends Emerson Tejidal to the canvass and was not able to beat the count.
