Valdez Knocks Out Vélez

Hard-hitting Mexican former world champion Óscar Valdez (28-0, 22 KO’s) stopped tough Puerto Rican Jayson Vélez in the final moments of their 10-rounder ESPN headliner last night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA 

Born in Nogales, Sonora, México, the 29-year old Valdez now wants a shot at a super featherweight world title.

His tons of fans feel he deserves it. 

A world title clash between Oscar Valdez and his Mexican compatriot Miguel “El Alacrán” Berchelt (37-1, 33 KO’s) would be an explosive 130-lbs blockbuster battle that no boxing fan would want to miss.
