Bellator and BAMMA are teaming up to bring some intriguing attractions to Newcastle in December.

On Thursday, a BAMMA release revealed that one-time UFC strawweight title challenger Valerie Letourneau will make her Bellator debut at their joint show on Dec. 15 at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, England. Letourneau (8-6) was originally scheduled to start with the promotion back in July at Bellator 181 vs. Emily Ducote, but an injury forced Letourneau to withdraw four days before the fight.

In six fights with the UFC, Letourneau compiled a 3-3 record with wins over Maryna MorozJessica Rakoczy, and Elizabeth Phillips. She faced Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 193 for the strawweight championship, but was defeated via unanimous decision. Following two more losses, Letourneau was released and she signed with Bellator this past April with the intention of competing in the 125-lb division.

Former UFC bantamweight standout Michael McDonald (17-4) has also been confirmed to be debuting on the card.

Joining Letourneau and McDonald will be The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes alum Colin Fletcher (15-8), Ryan Scope (10-1), and “Geordie Shore” star Aaron Chalmers (2-0).

Chalmers recently made a big splash on the BAMMA scene with an impressive knockout of Alex Thompson.

Opponents are yet to be determined for the announced fighters.
